THE 2.0 TORONTO MASTERCLASS
PURPOSE: To experience a Master Educator’s trademark experience through the signature 2.0 sequence of first the workout (energy out), then work-in (energy in). In recent iterations, a Master Fitness Educator pairs with a Master Wellness Educator to provide a harmonizing holistic experience, to leave participants with a balance of Yang and Yin energies.
METHODOLOGY: The Masterclass exemplifies the scientific principle of ‘Mechanotransduction’, whereby mechanical energy (from body) is converted into electrochemical activity (within mind). This signature 2.0 sequence was inspired by the therapeutic combination of yoga asana (movement and breath work), then seated meditation practice afterwards. An effective model for all mind-body-spirit experiences.
Annually, the smaller Masterclass Workshops (30 participants) scheduled earlier in the year act as stepping stones for the larger Summit Concerts (100+ participants), scheduled later in the year. The Masterclasses are pre-summit checkpoints that build excitement for the Summit but also give individual attention to boutique studios or cult-following educators.
Each workshop is an immersive and interactive experience, where participants passively engage with the teachings for personal development.
The curriculum is more free form throughout the year, but aims to provide other teachers and enthusiasts an in-depth look into the Master’s flow, their approach to teaching techniques, and cueing, and their variety of influential modalities and disciplines.
The facilitator sets the tone by holding space for more intimate level interactions for deeper bonding amongst the individuals but also group as a whole.
